This unit is absolute junk - they overheat and lose your connections
I bought 4 of these for a large 4 laptop workstation - upscaling studios. each one cuts out (overheats) in the middle of streaming video - turning off and switching back to Wi-Fi is the solution - but I need gigabit speeds and stability that Wi-Fi doesn't offer. Except these bitches are worse than any adapter I've ever had.
