I bought these for my son's birthday. He likes to go on hikes with us and look at birds and animals with the binoculars. He uses them for trips to the zoo as well.I was really impressed with the optical quality on these when I received them. My mother is a bird-watcher and she has a few of really expensive pairs of pro-level binoculars, but I think these are nearly as good as any of those. The optics are bright and focus well and are really sharp.They articulate to fit different eye distances and face shapes. I'm able to make them fit my eyes easily, and they fit my son's much smaller face as well. I think an adult could comfortable use these regularly if they wanted. The focus nob is smooth and easy to adjust.I'm really happy with these binoculars, and my son was excited to get them as a gift.
