The package came in the original box. No revein box. And as far as I can tell, the lid of the box was sealed with a single strip of tape. The box was additionally sealed with transparent thick packing tape. I would prefer the package to come in a Revain box for security reasons as the thick packing tape may have been added after it left the factory, possibly by the post office. Thank God all ten foot rails were in the box. We applied the strips the next day with no trouble. As the weather got colder we used a hair dryer to heat up the steps and the glue held really well. We'll learn more about the stickiness of the stripes after the winter snow melts. But so far we are happy with the results.
