WOW! I'm still on Cloud 9 after having my first experience baking and making pancakes with this 8 cup Pyrex contraption. I measured the flour right in there, added the other spoonful-sized ingredients, cracked the egg in, poured in the buttermilk, mixed everything in the pyrex, added the fat/bacon fat, tossed, then poured the batter straight into the pan from the pyrex. No spoons or dirty drips. It's taken me over 30 years to discover this convenience, and damn it, I'm glad I did. Haven't used the cover yet but I think it will come in handy. This is a great cooking tool.
