Connector Problems - Fuel Pumps and Accessories

I removed the tank and installed a new pump and overall the quality seemed decent. Cables and connectors are not as durable as the factory transmitter unit. Anyway, I drove it about 15 miles with no problems, then the jeep stalled leaving me stranded in the area. There was no fuel pressure and I couldn't hear the pump running. After a lot of troubleshooting, testing the wiring, and crawling under the jeep, I made a 'cut off the pump access panel' mod in the back so I can easily access the pump wiring. In the end, after a few tests, the problem was the plugs on this new transmitter. Not sure if it just didn't fit properly or stayed out etc. but my solution was to use the old transmitter's connector and plug it in. Here, too, one had to have access to the transmitter. and didn't want to drop the tank again. Long story short, it seems like a decent pump and construction, but that connector sucks. Buying this will save you the time, headache and thread and either plug it in or use an old plug from an old transmitter. Fingers crossed the pump lasts as long as I've ridden it about 40 miles with no issues.
