🔧 Optimized Fuel Pump Hanger: 5003861AA SP736H YJ for Jeep Wrangler 2.5L 4.0L 1991-1995 (20 Gallon) Review

Didn't have the problems some had when they only drove about 10 miles before he died. However I've had it 3 months and maybe 1000 miles and it died, I can't hear it turning on and that got me stuck at work, thank god I have AAA to bring it home.

Just looking to sell my YJ. The device initially worked. I was able to get the jeep into the garage from my backyard, but it wouldn't start. I hooked it up right away after reading some of the reviews here on Revain, but that didn't work for me either.

The device had serious problems with the electrical connection. I was walking through the national forest when the jeep stopped for the first time. It hung and wouldn't restart without unplugging it. Finally found that there was a serious connection problem in the connector. Returned the product and purchased from a different, more reliable source.

Installed the fuel pump assembly, the fuel gauge was full and there was only 5 gallons in the tank. Had to remove the tank again and found the connections on the underside of the assembly were loose. Solder the connection. Plugged the unit back in and the fuel pump didn't work this time. Found that the connector that plugs into the wire harness does not make a good connection. I replaced the end of the wiring harness with the original and so far everything is working fine.

I removed the tank and installed a new pump and overall the quality seemed decent. Cables and connectors are not as durable as the factory transmitter unit. Anyway, I drove it about 15 miles with no problems, then the jeep stalled leaving me stranded in the area. There was no fuel pressure and I couldn't hear the pump running. After a lot of troubleshooting, testing the wiring, and crawling under the jeep, I made a 'cut off the pump access panel' mod in the back so I can easily access the pump…
