Review on ๐Ÿšฟ Vintage Widespread Bathroom Faucet by GG Study 2 by Adam Hardy

Very difficult to install

This faucet looks great and has no plastic parts which I really like. I also liked that it comes with a drain and hoses so no additional purchases are required to complete the installation (at least I thought so). I highly recommend swapping the tops of the handles so that they are parallel to the wall before installing (as others have noted in their reviews). Even if you think you're installing them in parallel, you'll be surprised when you open the valves and find that the "out" is perpendicular. It's very difficult to get close to the fasteners between the sink and the back of the cabinet to tighten everything (other brands I've bought include a tool to help with this) and after 3 tries I always have still leaks. I've tried everything I can think of including using teflon tape, buying a new tool to tighten all the nuts and valves and I'm still leaking from the center Y-valve. I'm not sure what to do at this point. If I can't stop the leak, I'll either have to get professional help or buy a new faucet. Anyway, I had a lot of extra money when I thought I was going to save it, not to mention the time I wasted on it. Save yourself the headache and spend a few extra dollars for a product that is easy to install and actually works properly.

Pros
  • Sensor faucets
Cons
  • Off fashion
