Review on 💜 Purify and Revive with Kristin Ess The One Purple Shampoo, 10 fl. oz. by Andrea Young

I needed to tone my hair. It's been a few months since I insulated it and it's taken on a brassy appearance. I have used the Pulp Riot Barcelona purple shampoo in the past but decided to order the Revain purple shampoo rather than looking for a new salon to get my regular (we just moved here so I really have to find one). ). I used this more as a hair mask as I have in the past with my regular purple shampoo. I applied it to dry hair in sections and left it on for an hour. Most notably, the texture is really lacking. It's very sticky and doesn't saturate well, I ended up using almost the entire bottle to cover all of my hair (I should preface this by saying my hair is long and I have a ton of it). After washing my hair, I also applied the conditioner for this line and left it in my hair for about 15 minutes. The end result wasn't very tonic, I was expecting a lot more considering how long I left it alone, but then it wasn't a very good saturation so that's probably the reason. My hair smells really good, I personally like the smell but it's strong so if you are sensitive to fragrances I would stay away. The conditioner wasn't great, my hair seems a bit dry so I'll have to do something like a conditioner tonight. My hair is usually very healthy and feels like silk so I'm not thrilled with the end results with this shampoo and conditioner. I wouldn't buy this again just find a store that sells Pulp Riot Barcelona Shampoo.
