These inserts are perfect for my grill. And unlike aluminum foil or parchment paper, they're durable and won't leak. I really only use them on camping trips where I don't need to clean the stove. However, you're missing out on some of the magical flavor that Dutch Ovens add to your meal or dessert. You'll still get caramelization from the sugar, but probably not as much. However, this applies to any liner you use. You can also use them to store leftovers on a hike (desert for breakfast!).
