If you have SRAM Guide brakes and your piston has frozen, this is the solution. In case you didn't know, SRAM Guide brakes have one major advantage over other products. I swear by them because they have a wide pressure range that can be applied to braking performance. SRAM Guide brakes have a known defect. The original piston is made of plastic. When heated, it swells, causing the cobs to freeze. This happens to my brakes when the temperature is above 70 degrees Fahrenheit or when they are used a lot during a session. I've heard that replacing plastic with aluminum is the solution. I have received this product. I installed it. Obviously I'm a bit of a bike fixer. After installing it, I rode my Trek Remedy 8 on multiple trails over the course of a few days. If this product didn't work then I believe my review would be from a hospital bed, not my living room.
