I bought this product to secure two bikes between a camper and a trailer truck. Worked great until it broke. I'd just finished a long road trip, turned a corner about 10 miles from home and noticed my bikes bouncing off the hood of my car, which was only held on by ropes to the back of my van, which luckily worked. . The connection on this hitch receiver adapter is broken at the connection to the hitch receiver. As he collapsed, he dropped bikes and a car. Luckily I was able to get off the road safely quickly, but not before there was some very serious damage to the front of my car and the side of my van. I want a refund and also want the manufacturer to pay for the damage to my car and RV, but I doubt that will happen. Do not buy this product as it is not safe.
