sample sent and got results in a week. It can detect any element down to 0.001 mg/L or 1 ppb. I tested my aquarium water for plant growth issues and the level of plant nutrients was close to what I was dosing with the absolute minimum macro and micronutrients. However, two of them were zero Mn and Cl. I don't know why, I suspect the bacteria in my tank are consuming them faster than usual. I added more Mn and Cl and the plant started growing again. If I hadn't used this test, I doubt I would have been able to identify the problem myself. It can take a year or more to identify the problem through trial and error. And there is no other way to get the data I need. I can't buy test kits to get all the information I need and even if they were available the cost of this test would be well over $30. But an important note. They didn't know where the sample was taken from and they don't know. What interests you. So they're just giving you the parts per billion for each of the 33 elements. There is no data on whether the water is potable or whether the water contains all the nutrients an aquarium needs. You have to do it.
