I think I could repurpose the spatula but I'd have to search the garage. When this little gem arrived I removed some of the roughness with 220 sandpaper. Works like a dream, fits in a very large hand, makes the stickiest dough. Smooth; smooth. I call it the Heirloom Baking Tool. With it in my hands, I am master of the fate of my bread dough, viz. . . delicious.
