This is one of the few 100% cotton watercolors I've found and the best I've found yet. I love that you can draw on both sides of the paper. The paper is thick and durable. I'm not sure why they made a white cover for the artist's dirty hands. lol i think you can paint with acrylic paint. I completed the A5 cold press a few months ago. I'm trying to finish another watercolor album that I don't like, but I don't think I can take bad paper anymore. This time I'll take a larger A4 format. I really wish it wasn't that expensive for a sketchbook, but considering it has good quality paper and you can draw on both sides, it's worth it. on 100% cotton paper if you're serious, and you can paint on both sides. Then when you try something like Arches or Fabriano, you don't have to learn much. I wish it was around the time I started.
