To be honest I'm a bit confused. Compared to other similar probe thermometers, it's just hard to figure out exactly how it works. For example, there's an on/off button, but it doesn't seem to actually turn it off. It has an auto alarm that beeps when you reach a certain temperature - the maximum for this is only 300, although a sensor is rated for higher temperatures. Also, it has pictures of what appear to be two different cows and two different chickens (one might be a turkey but I can't figure out which cow it is). It seems that pressing the C/F button just toggles the light on and off. I'm not sure what went wrong here, but something is clearly wrong.
