So I just received this item and I am very optimistic about using it. But. Before testing I can say I know this item can cut you if you are not careful. Not only with tape retraction, but also the right side of the measuring tape is very sharp due to production. One side was definitely sawed off and the other wasn't, and that could undoubtedly lead to injury. It's very difficult to see in the picture, but I'll tell you that one did its job and the other didn't. Other than that I will be using this tape but it would be great if the seller or company contacted me about this to avoid future problems. **Update** Tape broke during log measurement for no apparent reason. Very disappointed. Very few operating hours. When first used to its maximum length, it broke at the end where it attaches to the winding mechanism. Garbage.
