My dog is still fairly young and we're still working on getting her to not pull as much on walks, bit she definitely pulls A LOT. I was hoping this harness would be more comfortable for her, and I was also attracted to it because of the handle on the back to hold her if we need to.However, once we put it on her and saw that it was moving a lot on her deslite it being decently fitted on her, we discovered the leash actually has a bit of elastic running through the front of it where the front d-ring is. So when she lunges, it gives more give than we want. I really didn't like that because it made our dog pull more since she felt that give to the harness. It also made it so if it's not on super snug to the dog, the harness WILL shift.Besides that, it doesn't have an easy release clip on the neck part, so tightening and adjusting the harness on the dog is impossible if you have a fidgety dog. Even when it wasn't on her, I found the buckles pretty difficult to work with. If you have any problems with your hand strength or grip, I could not recommend this harness because adjusting it was so difficult. I also found that after I tightened it enough so she wouldn't be so loose in it, it was too tight to come off her head and we had to reloosen it all over again. I do not like that part of the design at all.Really sad this didn't work for her, (she looks so cute in it) but I think if your dog is a lot better trained it'd probably be fine. Just does not work well enough for a dog that pulls a lot.Also my dog is a small German Shepard and we ordered a large. I think a medium would have possibly worked better.
