Cool mailbox minus the lid
I think this is an very nice looking mailbox, sturdy enough, and lock is fine thus far. My main gripe is the lead my house is covered in layered tiles so even with the rubber distancing washer my lid won’t open fully. I even added 6 steel washers on each screw. The problem is the slight steel over hang on the back/ top part of the lid. But I think I will be fine since it does open up wide enough for mail to be deposited. or maybe thats how far the lid should open I dunno?!
