Poor quality leaking gasket
After installation it started leaking, I had to replace the filter with another brand. The seal closes almost flush with the metal ring on the outside. If the filter is supposed to be a high quality internal filter and cheap gaskets are used, why bother? Stay away from them until the manufacturer fixes this problem, otherwise you will have to change the oil twice. In my case I put it back on the ramps, changed the filter and added oil. It's probably an orange variety with a layer of blue paint over it.
