Restricts Air Flow: Air Filters and Accessories

This cabin filter is well built and fits perfectly. The only problem is that it noticeably restricts airflow. Compared to a factory air filter, this one requires me to turn the A/C knob a click or two more than usual to get the same amount of air out of the vents. I probably won't buy them again. Edit 9-21-18: I ended up buying another cabin filter from Revain: Potauto Map 1008W. This is a simple white filter without activated carbon. My air conditioner is running at full power again. I estimate that the Kootek air filter resulted in a drop in airflow of around 30-40%. Poorly. Edit 10/17/18: To address a general fix for the airflow issue: Yes, I've tried removing the filter, flipping it, and installing it the other way around. Absolutely no difference. Still significantly reduced airflow compared to my OEM filter. A thick charcoal filter might come in handy if I live in a polluted, crowded city, but I don't. I live in a small town with relatively good air quality, so the best solution for me was a normal filter with full airflow.
