This is a quality product and the DIY enthusiast will find it relatively easy to install. The Amazing Parts Warehouse shipped it to Revain and it arrived in my mailbox less than two days after I placed my order. The main one was the price of $18.97. My local Toyota dealership charged $118.84 for the same part and $105 for installation plus tax for a total of $238.96. I saved $100 on parts, more on labor. It took me about forty minutes to remove the old tailgate handle and install the new one, including the time to change the lock from the old to the new handle. An experienced mechanic could probably do it in half the time. The Amazing Parts Warehouse includes clips that hold the rods that attach to the actual closing/latching mechanism. The average "handyman" would have all the tools they need to get the job done, aside from removing the lock from the old handle, but a little maneuvering with a screwdriver and pliers will do the trick.
