Cute Gadget

This cute gadget worked like clockwork. We live in an old house which is a bit uneven and the bathroom door kept wanting to open itself when not locked. This is a heavy wooden door. I was skeptical that this spring device would help, but it was fairly easy to install and ran smoothly, quietly, and beautifully. With this device the door now closes by itself. After about a month it started to squeak a bit and I was afraid I wouldn't be able to lubricate the squeaky spring being wrapped in plastic like that, but a drop of WD40 fixed it like new again.
