I wanted Apple CarPlay and a backup camera screen on my 2011 Toyota Camry. I saw it installed in a YouTube video so I bought it. This was my first work on a car or installation of this nature so it took a couple of hours. It took a few more times to figure out how to connect a rear camera because the English abbreviations on the head unit cable labels are a bit confusing. If you are confused, simply use your phone's translation function for the Chinese text on the cable labels. Otherwise, Apple CarPlay works fine wirelessly. It takes about 15 seconds for Apple CarPlay to start automatically. The touchscreen and sound quality are good. Sound quality used to be unimportant, but restarting the car fixed everything. I haven't tried the microphone yet. The color/texture matches the Camry's silver interior perfectly. The only drawback, hence 1 star deduction: The original head unit has 3 screws on each side that hold it securely. It doesn't exist with this one. In fact, it just rests on a plastic bar. In a serious accident, I could worry about that. There's probably a reason why Toyota bolted the original so tight.
