Confusing setup and potential safety issue, but works like a charm

I wanted Apple CarPlay and a backup camera screen on my 2011 Toyota Camry. I saw it installed in a YouTube video so I bought it. This was my first work on a car or installation of this nature so it took a couple of hours. It took a few more times to figure out how to connect a rear camera because the English abbreviations on the head unit cable labels are a bit confusing. If you are confused, simply use your phone's translation function for the Chinese text on the cable labels. Otherwise, Apple

Warning to anyone purchasing an Android head unit.

INSTALLI have installed over 2 dozen head units in my life and I dabble in automobiles and electronics for fun so I can say fitting this to a 2012 Camry LE was a breeze. Maybe 30 minutes after unpacking and figuring out where I turned it on. Watch a video or two and try it yourself. Great upgrade for my 2012 Camry Hybrid XLE with very few errors

Overall I am very happy with this update. The original center unit on my 2012 Camry Hybrid XLE was almost obsolete when I threw it out of the dealer park, and finally this unit delivers a long-overdue upgrade. Installation was tedious, but overall it was worth it. There are many installation videos (the barcode in the instructions led to a youtube video that wasn't there, but there are many others).
