Review on 📠 High-Speed External Modem + Fax, US Robotics V.92 USR5686E, 56K by Ryan Gilliam

I bought my modem about 3 weeks ago after the original modem in my computer failed. Everything was great for the first two weeks, relatively quick initial connection and pages seemed to load faster and smoother. But just in the last 24 hours, with no reason or indication in the diagnostics that there was a problem, the speaker that allows me to hear the tethering feature has died and the initial connection time has slowed down. The troubleshooting information is difficult to understand. I had a lot of trouble installing the driver and to be honest there are better and more reliable brands out there that don't cost as much as this one. Very very disappointed.
