Review on Zoo Med Reptile Stand Large by David Stewart

Bought this to hang a dual dome mini light over my bearded dragon tank. I love the fact that you can adjust the height, which makes it easy to get the right distance (6 inches) between my beard and its light so it doesn't accidentally fry. Being able to open the sliding top of the screen is also great. I no longer have to fiddle around with a light mounted on it, and no longer have to worry about the light at all when feeding, cleaning the cage, etc. This stand is reassuring knowing my heat lamp is now safe from my cats accidentally tipping over while I'm away from home. Cord clips allow you to secure the cord to the stand, making it less dangling and less tempting for cats. My only complaint is that the clamps are big enough to only hold one cable, not two cables from my dual dome. Bracket (warm + UVB). But that really doesn't matter. I just used the twisted zip ties that come in the package to provide extra security when attaching the second cable to the stand. Good product. Would definitely recommend to others especially those with cats or young children who are concerned about heat lamp safety/ accidental tipping over.
