Review on 🔧 Upgraded Alternator Replacement For Buick LeSabre & Pontiac Bonneville V6 3.8L 3800 2001-2004 by Aaron Ayo

I can't overstate my surprise at the delivery time of this item! I ordered this alternator for a 2001 Buick LeSabre last Friday afternoon, picked it up at my door on Saturday afternoon (next day!) and installed it in time to go to the movies that night! Installation was easy. with one exception: I didn't have a short 1/2" 15mm socket to fit the engine drive belt idle screw. " Breaker drive to loosen the belt to remove it from the old alternator and then put it through a new one I also had all the necessary tools. I was able to borrow a short 1/2" 5/8" socket from a close friend. This bushing fits the idler snugly enough to get the job done. Be sure to look searched the web for youtube videos detailing troubleshooting and installation. The alternator seems to be putting out enough current to charge the battery. I would give it an unreserved 5 star rating, however I am a little concerned about the quiet but audible alternator noise it makes i hear when the hood is open i never heard this sound from the old one but i don't always pay attention to such things either i hope it continues to work well.
