Review on Aquagear Water Filter Replacement Pitcher by Jamie Behm

Revainrating 1 out of 5

112 ppm is tap water quality.

Second and third filter change. (My email to aquagear customer service) Hello! Recently I had to pay attention to the purity of the water. I have purchased several of your filters in the past with the belief that the levels are as advertised and will remove over 90% of many contaminants. I've started testing filtered water with the last two filters I bought from Revain and they both deliver very poor water quality. I'm disappointed with what I found and need help to figure out if it's a filter or if the drinking water in St. Petersburg, Florida has suddenly become so polluted that even your filter can't remove contaminants. After flushing the new filter 1 time for more than 5 minutes each time, my results are as follows: NOTE. The PPM value should be between 0-50 ppm. So now I'll start re-filtering the previously filtered water from your pitcher. 13. = 239. Now I give up. These statements are terrible. As a workaround I buy Smart Water which always tests around 22ppm which confirms that the tester used is working properly. First filter purchased: filtered water tested at 112ppm where it should be LOWER. 50. Error or Plagiarism. I don't know, but this filter is stupid. Sales corrected. I read it upside down. 112 is still too much for any filter. I requested a refund and bought Smart Water until I found out. Will probably buy 1 more time before I lick my $80 water sore.
