USB-C hub for MacBook Pro. As a student, I need a laptop to study. So I bought a new Macbook Pro (2017 model) but it only had a USB-C port. This prompted me to purchase a USB-C hub that would allow me to get a standard USB port as well as PD charging, data transfer, and even an HDMI port. This is one of the 6 in 1 centers I have come across. I read a lot of reviews before buying, did a lot of research and finally decided on the Zedela USB-C Hub, which is a good decision. First, when using this device, I can use my standard 87W USB-C charging adapter for direct-to-pass-through power (there's a USB-C port for charging). Secondly, I noticed that some people in the comments claim that it will be hot after using it. After testing it, I can say with confidence that the previous commenter said that this adapter would get very hot, which is not true. This hub only gets a little warm after prolonged use, but I believe that's the heat that any charger gives off. Plug my Samsung phone into a USB 3.0 port and the adapter plugs in and charges, no problem. I don't know why some people say this USB-C hub is not suitable for Macbook Pro. So far it works great with my Macbook Pro. Finally, I use HDMI with a 4K TV, no problem displaying the screen at 4K at 30Hz. It is great. Overall I am very satisfied with this hub, I will recommend this Macbook Pro USB-C Hub to my friends.
