Review on Buffalo MediaStation 8x Portable DVD Writer with M-DISC Support: High Performance and Portable Storage Solution by Shane Black

I've searched the internet and local electronics stores only to find that most portable DVD drives don't work with Windows 10. The most popular LG SP80NB60 had no drivers at the time of my purchase in September 2015 that would work with Windows 10. I found this information on the LG website support blogs. My dilemma was that I had to do a clean install back to Windows 8.1 from the OEM DVD provided by Dell. This product worked great for Windows 10 and I powered it up with just a USB cable plugged into the Super Speed USB on a Dell Micro 9020. The drive started up immediately and even worked great when I forced my computer to boot. Booting from a DVD drive, bypassing normal booting from a hard drive. This product makes a very slight buzz when reading a disc, but for my business purposes it doesn't matter, and for 99% of the public it shouldn't either. EXCELLENT AND RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE
