This is the second product I have bought. The first worked perfectly until the battery was empty (after about 7 months). This one doesn't sit well with me because it shuts itself off multiple times a day for an hour or more. This doesn't give me a good idea of its reliability, although when plugged in it does appear to provide accurate temperature and humidity readings. At this point, I'm not sure if the device is rated for intermittent operation or if my WiFi is to blame. I first tried the device in different places of my wireless router where it was not enough. So I ended up having to stop at a location next to the router where he currently works part time. I think it's better than not working at all.
