I have bought many leather punches as I have owned horses for over 30 years. They are BIG and very easy to use. The cut is always clean and easy to squeeze. They open wide for different purposes. So far the lightest I've had. They also appear to be very heavy. I've read reviews from other people that the punch doesn't line up with the brass plate, but if you loosen and move the screw it aligns. It's no problem to customize it. Great leather punch. I would definitely buy again. Great tool and even better price. I looked around and wasn't sure which ones to buy but I'm glad I didn't spend more than $20 if they work great.
