Apparently they work (and this was recommended by our whole house quantum disinfection system installer) because we need to clean our water collection tank so it's probably too expensive, ours Micron filters are a bit but before we last replaced this and our other micron filter our water pressure was getting worse every day but the moment we changed the filters the pressure was perfect. And then, three days after we had to change the filter again (so today), two or three months later, whatever it was, the water pressure started to suffer again! Then after the replacement everything is fine. That's proof enough for me that he's doing his job.
