It was so beautiful that I bought it twice! I originally bought this for work (I'm a payroll specialist so I use a lot of pencils) but when I got it there I found that it's better than my expensive Xacto electric sharpener at home (also an amateur artist so use lots of colored pencils). ). So I decided to bring it home and take Xacto to work. After 3 weeks I couldn't take it anymore I can't stand the Xacto compared to this fancy little Camara sharpener - so I gave the Xacto to a resale store and bought another one just like that for the office - Sharpens very fast, very sharp. It's probably a bit bright for very young children and probably too sharp for them anyway. But my 11 year old handles it well and loves it as much as I do. Worth the $12 we paid. Therefore!
