Review on Breastmilk Reusable Container CERES CHILL by James Daniels

Amazing Milk Storage - Eliminates the need for ice packs and plastic bags. Easy to handle.

Love it! Why? The list of pros and cons is below and a few tips at the end. I hope it helps. In short, I really think any good thermos can work great if you have access to a fridge at work and are going to use the chiller there. If you need to chill milk without a fridge, read on. Pros: - It eliminates ice packs for chilling your expressed milk in the absence of a fridge (great for a forgetful, tired mom ;) ) and you don't have to travel with a bunch of bottles. I feel like it's a lot easier to manage. I've used it this way mainly when travelling, not so much at work (where I've had access to a fridge) - Keeps the milk COLD. (Note that the inner chamber only holds 12 ounces! 24 ounces if you use the inner ice chamber and store milk in the outer chamber. Still nice and cold, but less than with milk in the inner chamber.) - Can be reused - used as a thermos after pumping! Cons (not really, just an annoyance for me): - Inner chamber only holds 12 oz. Not enough for most moms to pump a day at work. Even if you use the inner chamber for an ice/water mix and fill the outer chamber with milk, it's only 24 ounces (maybe 25, but that's very little when the top is screwed down). If you have access to a refrigerator, you can store about 34 ounces in a bottle, and it'll be cold enough on the way home without ice. The price is a bit high especially if you don't use ice. target camera. But it is universal and over time I have used all the options. The possibility of direct inflation does not suit me (does not close well) and is not very practical due to the size of the bottle and the need for two coolers. if you want to double pump! Tips: - Let the milk come to room temperature after pumping and before putting it in the cooler (if possible). It definitely helps keep the ice cream longer. The inner container is small (12 ounces). So most likely too little for the daily amount of milk. I often used the inner chamber (filled with crushed ice and filled with cold water from the fridge) for cooling. You can store 24 ounces of milk this way. I still missed it most days (I have twins and easily pump 40 ounces in a workday). I also used an ice-free cooler since I have access to a refrigerator at work (it holds about 34 ounces this way). I just pumped into regular bottles and "poured" into the cooler. Milk stays cold enough on the way home if it's been refrigerated during the day. I left the pump and a full set of pump parts at work, stored in the fridge between pumps and cleaned at the end of the day - dried overnight at work. (Works well if you have access to a table or cabinet, sink and fridge.) - Filling it with ice will leave some milkfat in the inner chamber. There may also be a "ring" of milk fat if you've only kept milk in a bottle in the fridge. This is completely normal and will happen with any breast milk container. Simply leave some space in the bottle, make sure the ice chamber and lid are tightly closed, invert and shake/shake gently to weigh out the milkfat before pouring. - I used about 32 ounces. Mason jars with lids for storing milk at home (filled right out of the Ceres cooler when I got home from work). This made it easy to pour bottles for our babysitter while I was at work and didn't create a pile of plastic waste from the bags. If you prepare your day care bottles the night before, you don't need any extra storage space - just pour straight into the bottles that came with your day care! Of course, if you want to freeze milk regularly, you still need a system. Therefore. Think "milk sticks" or "cube trays" and large freezer bags. In addition, the amount of plastic waste should be reduced. Happy pumping mom! You are doing a great job for your child! It's a tough job and a lot of commitment. Make sure that your family appreciates and actively supports your work and commitment! Pump it up mom! Do you have this!
