So. Nobody mentioned in these reviews that the ONLY way to use these lights is to set them on a timer where they will turn off automatically. DO NOT leave them on for more than 8 hours a day. That means if you want to use them for interior decoration, they'll only be on for 8 hours at a time. They are so pretty it's so sad I couldn't leave them on all the time as a nice accent light in my kitchen. The timer should have an option to allow them to be used while connected.
