Bought 2, One Works, One Doesn't

I bought 2 of these. One works well and charges easily. The other one, after charging once, will no longer charge. I thought maybe the light was too close to the cabinet for the charger not to connect. I've ignored the problem for months, finally pulling the light off the bottom of the cabinet to attempt to connect the charger. Bottom line: the charger won't connect because something is wrong with the light's connection. The charger inserts fine in the other light, so it's clearly the light connector. I have dozens of items that I have to charge; this is the first time I've had a issue with charging one because of a problem with a damaged connector in the item. It's a mystery.
