Hello ladies and gentlemen! I'm also FCC licensed to repair electronic radios and I can tell you I've used dozens of soldering iron tip re-tinning compounds primarily used to remove oxidation and deposits and I can tell you that I've tried dozens from other brands that were less than slightly effective. Solder and tip re-tinning/cleaning compositions. I would give this brand an 11 on a scale of 1 to 10. Invest a little money and you will be amazed! Opinion and many other PROFESSIONALS and similar ELECTRONICS REPAIR PERSONNEL! I tried this brand AND IT IS NOT EXCELLENT! I'm not used to giving product reviews but after using this product I felt compelled! Be bigger including the applicator brush! Sincerely, oh one more thing, like all solder and tip connections, the fumes are toxic and can come from dormancy. Do yourself a favor, spend about $40 and buy a smoke evacuator! dr Thomas J.
