Review on πŸš€ Enhance Engine Performance with Beck Arnley 158-0917 Knock Sensor by Kenneth Barnes

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The product works great but is VERY difficult to get into the second generation Honda CR-V (2004)

Extremely difficult to install due to obstructions from the starter, air conditioning and power steering pump. The bigger your hands, the harder it will be to gain access. You need a 27 mm deep socket and a rotating adapter. A standard 1 1/16 inch will also work. Be careful when removing and replacing the clip. Avoid the temptation to use pliers as you don't want to break the clip on the side of the tether (again, not good access to it). about 20 miles and your knock sensor code should be cleared. The local Honda dealer charged almost $600 to install this part.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Some difficulties
