Extremely difficult to install due to obstructions from the starter, air conditioning and power steering pump. The bigger your hands, the harder it will be to gain access. You need a 27 mm deep socket and a rotating adapter. A standard 1 1/16 inch will also work. Be careful when removing and replacing the clip. Avoid the temptation to use pliers as you don't want to break the clip on the side of the tether (again, not good access to it). about 20 miles and your knock sensor code should be…

Got rid of as good as Original Honda Part

code PO325. Removal and Installation Instructions: Go through the bottom, use a 27mm jack 1/2 and disconnect the sensor cable with your fingers. Mine came off with a slight click. Manual replacement by screwing in the sensor and plugging into the socket. I was really stressed out about this job after browsing the internet. Honestly it was a 45 minute job including burglaries on both sides of the car. Lift it up about a foot and insert it from the front. It is located near the lower radiator…

Good. You need this to remove the plug of the knock sensor

As you've probably already read, replace the knock sensor****! The one part I had the most trouble with was removing the knock sensor wiring harness/connector/clip, whatever you want to call it. I couldn't see it snap onto the sensor. Turns out the button to unbuckle the seat belt was on top (where I couldn't see the car from below). What you need to do is pry the connector away from the sensor with a flat head screwdriver while using your hand (and by that I mean any fingertips you can reach)…

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Almost everything ok

Perfect fit exact replacement for Honda Element 2004

Update 03/22/2021 Newly fitted knock sensor broke after less than 8 months. I hope my experience is unique. Bought a new one today. Hope this one lasts longer. I will update my review later. =======The product is exactly the same as the original. I bought a standard Revain 27mm jack and it has enough internal depth for a cable plug. Don't get a low profile that isn't deep enough for the cable port. Don't buy long/extended. There isn't much room to work under the hood. The knock sensor is easily

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Excellent - 2006 CRV OBDII P0325 Code Fixed

Excellent Product. Fixed CRV code P0325 from 2006 which was 40% of the value of the Honda part. Just a word of caution if you do it yourself. I accessed the knock sensor from below by removing the lower engine fender. Access is very narrow and it took me some time to remove the cable and connector from the sensor. I pressed the terminal with a long flat head screwdriver and pryed the connector from underneath with another long flat head screwdriver. Then I couldn't fit an open-ended or slip-end

Pros
  • Excellent Price
Cons
  • Crumpled

The good part is hard to get to!

Like many of the parts I have repaired on my aging Honda Element, they were the hardest to get to. It was probably one of PITA's greatest works. If the sensor were available it would take less than 5 minutes but it doesn't. You can reach it from the bottom of the element, it's deep there. You'll need a 1-1/16" open-end wrench, the thinner the better. All you have to do is unscrew it and you can unscrew it with your finger. The sensor connector is a bit stiff. But other reviewers have provided…

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • You could choose a newer model

It worked great! - Sensors

Hello Revane! Just thought I'd write a good review on this knock sensor. I've always trusted Beck Arnley parts. I buy all the good parts for my 2004 Honda CRV. Mileage 186,000 km, drives new. In this review I thought I would give back to the Revain community what they have done for me. So I have a few tips for any newbie trying to do the job on their own, because I'm a newbie too. 1 Spray the electrical clamp well with an electrical cleaner before disconnecting it from the old K-sensor. 2…
