Review on 🚀 Enhance Engine Performance with Beck Arnley 158-0917 Knock Sensor by Brian Olson

Hello Revane! Just thought I'd write a good review on this knock sensor. I've always trusted Beck Arnley parts. I buy all the good parts for my 2004 Honda CRV. Mileage 186,000 km, drives new. In this review I thought I would give back to the Revain community what they have done for me. So I have a few tips for any newbie trying to do the job on their own, because I'm a newbie too. 1 Spray the electrical clamp well with an electrical cleaner before disconnecting it from the old K-sensor. 2 Before reconnecting the new K-sensor, clean the inside of the connector with an electrical cleaning spray. 3 Do not tighten the new K-sensor more than "snug and tight” to a mountain bike tire. The job took about an hour and a half and I used the key you see in my photos. Thing is, if you have a smaller hand, you can reach between the manifold and the starter and unscrew the old knock sensor after loosening it. I used my left hand after freeing it by putting my feet on the driver's side front wheel to kind of push my body. up to get my hand in there. The car was also on jack stands and I'm a little short LOL. The reason I'm explaining this is because for some goddamn reason I couldn't get my right hand up there at all. And in some moments and other positions, when I was under the car, I wouldn't even have thought that the old knock sensor could even be pulled out with my hands! So keep that in mind if you try to do it yourself. I've heard many stories online that a knock sensor code can be anything but the knock sensor as "knock sensors rarely fail on these Hondas". So I hope I've helped someone get their job done and save the money you would pay to a mechanic trying to amuse themselves with their hard-earned money. Or they charge you $100 for a job they can do in 5 minutes. It's a shame companies charge fees these days. REMEMBER you KNOW that no one can ever take it from you. And to know is to believe.
