
Wrong hardware does not fix the problem. I believe they will create more problems than they solve. I'll probably end up using other #8 screws and will have to use duct tape butterflies to keep the anchor from rotating in the hole. That being said, I wish there was a more obvious solution. I would suggest holding the connector with pliers and turning the screw before installing, but this will expand the collar and make the connector too big, maybe glue? But who knows, maybe just rubbish.
