🔒 Ribbed Plastic Drywall Anchor Masonry: Secure your walls confidently Review

I thought I'd order 1 inch screws. However, these are 1 1/4" screws. The 1" in the title refers to anchors. Just make sure you read the description before you buy. Aside from my little flaw, the product is just great. I use them, to fix electrical boxes and plumbing in my garage they hold amazingly well the drill bit works great and doesn't deviate from where you want to drill.

Wrong hardware does not fix the problem. I believe they will create more problems than they solve. I'll probably end up using other #8 screws and will have to use duct tape butterflies to keep the anchor from rotating in the hole. That being said, I wish there was a more obvious solution. I would suggest holding the connector with pliers and turning the screw before installing, but this will expand the collar and make the connector too big, maybe glue? But who knows, maybe just rubbish.

I didn't believe other reviews about screws being too big for anchors. After receiving them they seemed too big to me but I was determined to make them fit. So I did a test by holding the dowel with pliers and was able to insert the screw. He was very tight but entered. I then drilled a hole in the drywall with the drill that was provided. They work fine but have a design flaw, to make them work properly you need to do some extra work that I've never dealt with before the same product made by another seller. If you use them straight away in drywall, they twist in place and cut a hole as you insert the screw into the dowel. "Break the seal" and loosen the screw - all so that the dowel opens up in the drywall rather than just snagging on the screw, making it impossible to use the quarter-inch hole you had for it have drilled. The screws and anchors in this set do not match. You will receive 100 #10 screws and 100 anchors that fit #8 screws. It also comes with a #10 masonry bit size for anchors. So if you use the included drill you will get a slightly larger hole and if you try to insert the included screws the dowel will push right through the hole. Wall. What I love most about these anchors is that my thin 3/16 flat head screwdriver can drill the exact size hole for these anchors in the drywall. I can easily drill a hole by twisting the head into the drywall, then flipping it over and inserting the dowel with the crank. Made for it. Next thing is that they actually work in foam.
