These are great little RFID readers. I'm running this on a Linux system with Python using the Mercury API Python wrapper. This thing can read a huge amount of tags and fast. I've seen the results in real time and it's very impressive. I wish the reader was a little cheaper, but it's one of the cheapest options out there and it's very functional. The main reader chip itself costs about $120, so the rest of the cost is the board it sits on, with an internal tracing antenna and a few other connections I don't use. Either way, this is a great RFID reader!
