Does not fit properly and does not include all wires in connector to make it plug and play

The car chose this kit. 2011 ram 2500. The audio adapter wiring harness did not include a DC wire in the connector. Just one wire with butt connector and fuse adapter. Of course the car which it's listed for (fits multiple cars, so one of these), a body control module that senses current, so it doesn't have fuses. In addition, the cable adapter does not include the dimmer cable in the connector, even if it is in the vehicle wiring harness. At the very least they could have included some pre-wired wires to plug into the socket so everything could go through the plug. Radio mount adapters are a joke. The large width and the taper at the top and bottom create huge gaps between the factory pad and the adapter at the top and bottom. The adapter surfaces are slightly curved to follow the curve of the finish, but they don't match, leaving an obvious offset on either side. which is right in front of you. This is only after (if) you have filed parts, that are too wide to fit in the unmodified asshole. (yes, I am using a US 2 din radio, not a Euro radio) To place the radio in the center of the factory fairing required modifications to the adapters and base plate as the adapters are placed on top of the front of the head unit. If you want to use a radio bezel you will need massive modifications and trust me with the gaps this kit has you will want to use a bezel. Running out of antenna adapter and mounting adapters that fit and match the curvature of the factory fairing. To complete the installation I used a different brand cable adapter kit that is available locally. Throw away everything else It's trash. The gaps that this kit has will require you to use a trim ring. Running out of antenna adapter and mounting adapters that fit and match the curvature of the factory fairing. Pros
  • --- VERY IMPORTANT --- PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING ----: Very Important: Wiring harness will only work with high quality factory amplifier systems - Not compatible with amplifier systems such as Bose, Infinity etc. - The new radio's red ignition cable must be routed separately from the car radio wiring harness (the factory radio plug has no ignition current cable). Some features such as steering wheel audio controls, rear DVD audio, etc. are not retained - additional adapters are required.
Cons
