I bought this because I was having trouble managing my 4 gallon gas tank when filling up my lawn mower. That works great. In terms of performance, I couldn't ask for more. But after the first use, I realize that I now have to pull it out of the canister and the gas is dripping onto the floor of my garage. Of course it happened. So remember this is for OUTSIDE the garage use. I really like the pump handle. It simulates a gas pump and unused gas is returned to the canister simply by turning off the pump motor and lifting and opening the pump handle. It has a much longer hose and suction power than the nationally advertised 2 for 1, just pay extra for the S&H version of this pump. This pump uses D size batteries (not included). This is important as two D batteries at 200mAh offer around 72 hours of battery life, while three AAA batteries last around 20 hours, giving this version an extended grace period before corrosion begins. Nevertheless, it is recommended to check the batteries while the device is running and to remove them out of season.
