We needed to keep the sun from entering through our living room front door in the evening. a better option than curtains or drywall. Installing the system was easy, most of the work was framing and trimming the old wall opening. The top ones were installed per the instructions as the brackets hold the boards together and need extra space. Overall we are satisfied with the kit. The plastic is a bit flimsy and expensive for what it is. For our use I could have drilled the dowels into 1x6 and used thin strips of wood to join the floorboards.
