The best mirror that is easy to assemble. Ford Tech for 16 years and in OEM quality. The mirrors don't wobble while driving like other brands I've used before. It was installed on a 2018 f150 stx 4wd 8 pin connector. Signals and heating function work out of the box. Driving lights/high beams, low beams and high beams/fog/auxiliary lights do not work when delivered. You need to connect them with OEM wiring. If you want the high beam feature to work, it's easy to do. Use a video camera and boost AP video for disassembly, but the pin locations on the stx 2018 are not those shown in the video. On the driver's side, connect the brown connector from the mirror. to the blue twin wire in the gray connector on the door and the blue single wire on the passenger door in the gray connector. For headlights, use purple wire. I used a 2 channel flash on a remote control box without a relay. Easy and cheap. Just remember to route the cables when you add the running feature. To light puddles, you need to connect it to the wiring harness that controls the interior lights. I haven't connected mine yet, so I don't know the color yet. But to be honest I don't really need it, so maybe I won't install this feature. I am glad to help
