Very effective optics. No eye strain after I set the correct diopter. I like that the diopter adjustment can be locked so I don't have to worry about having to adjust it. I use them to see wildlife and landscapes and the clarity and colors are amazing. No chromatic aberrations were found. The focus wheel is no problem at all. I can quickly focus on moving subjects and get a sharp image. I warmly recommended these binoculars to my brother-in-law who was keen on expensive German glass. When he checked my 10X42 Endeavor II he was convinced they were value for money. I read a lot of really good reviews online that got me thinking. When I saw the $100 off Vanguard, I couldn't pass it up. Very happy with this product.
