As a kid my family always had a rather old fashioned ice cream scoop that was pretty basic. It was difficult to use with very frozen ice cream so I was looking for a better ice cream scoop when I left. In the end, I decided on an ice cream scoop with a dispensing mechanism - at the push of a button, a lever moves and pushes the ice cream out. This worked well for a long time until I moved to a new apartment and lost my old ice cream scoop. I chose this spoon because of the great reviews on Revain. I'm glad I decided to buy this, it's really much better than lever dispensers. Due to the slight bend in the handle, it fits perfectly in the hand. The edges of the scoop part are sharp, which makes it very easy to cut the ice and get big ice balls. All in all a great scoop, highly recommended!
